Over 300,000 acres of Walk-In Hunting Access (WIHA) areas and public land available.


The WIHA program kicked off in 1995 in an effort to enhance the strong Kansas hunting heritage by providing hunting access to private property.  The program has grown to one of the most successful access programs in the country. Kansas Department of Wildlife Parks & Tourism

2017 Pheasant Hunting Season:  November 11, 2017 – January 31, 2018
Daily Limit:  4 Roosters
License Fees:  Non-resident $97.50, under 16 $42.50
