The Ringneck Classic awarded a $ 5,000 grant to the city of Colby in support of the Villa High pond and recreational area to help fund the construction of a weir and sedimentation area for the pond.  The area was designed by EHB Engineering in participation with the Kansas Division of Wildlife and Parks.  The construction will help to trap sediment so the main pond can remain as clean as possible, improving the year round fish habitat and prolonging the life of the pond.
