The WIHA program kicked off in 1995 in an effort to enhance the strong Kansas hunting heritage by providing hunting access to private property.  The program has grown to one of the most successful access programs in the country. Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks 

Pheasant Hunting Season:  Second Saturday in November – January 31
Daily Limit:  4 Roosters –  KS Upland Game Bird Season Info
License Fees:  Resident $27.50.  Non-resident $97.50, non-resident youth $42.50
